A word from Tim (15 yrs old)

Hey,
It's been a very long time since the last time I wrote for the Blog. So, everythings been good. I just saw thenew Star Wars movie with Tom and Uncle Max, it was very good. I'm excited to watch it this summer on tv. Summer has been really fun. I have a new beautiful Girlfriend, her name is Trea. We have been together for 8 months. It has been great. She's amazing and so much fun to be around. She like my obsession with Lord of The Rings. Uncle Max's friend Sue would like her because she is a huge Harry Potter fan., which is a very good thing. I've also been reading more. I just read The Children of Hurin, which is about Turin son of Hurin. It is a very good book. I'm now reading the Silmarillion, I've only read about 3 pages so far, but i'm excited to actually start reading it. I have also been drawing a lot more. Hopefully Uncle Max can post them on the blog so everyone can see. I still play sports, baseball season has ended about a month ago. We did good. We came in in 2nd for the season, but lost in the championship game for the town tournament. I pitchedand did well. The score was 8-7. I'm going to be a sophomore this year. But thats about it. I just wanted to tell you how I am because its has been a very long time and I apologize. I will write more, so be excited. Later , Tim.

Superman

I just watched this movie again tonight, and thought I would share my thoughts. While ultimately I was disappointed in the film i.e the storyline. I hated Lois Lane, and especially the brat. Superman has NO CHILDREN!!!! I understand what Bryan Singer was trying to do. Still Hated it. Superman never looked better. I thought Brandon Routh as Superman was everything he should be. Handsome, masculine with a touch of humility. The film looked like a painting. Every time we saw Superman on screen it was fantastic. I saw this at IMAX in 3d and was blown away. They had like 20 minutes of action sequences in 3d. It was mind blowing. I hope whomever decides to do another movie, gets the storyline right, because Superman is a modern American folk tale. I for one will be buying a ticket when they do. Long Live Superman!

Photo Shoot Test Run

Tom and I went to Indiana, this weekend, first and foremost to visit Grandma and Papa, but also to take some test shots of us in our Lord of the Ring costumes. I wanted to get an idea of how we look in them. Of course, trying to get everything together, I ended up forgetting the most important items! My costumes! I'm wearing Timmy's costume. Which initially I wanted to, but then I thought of changing off. Getting a chance to try on all the costumes. But I grabbed the wrong ones. I have a beautiful Gandalf costume, that I had hand made just for me. It sat under my bed. And I also have a medieval Prince Costume, no one has seen and I've never worn. I really wanted to try that one out. Oh well next time, this was only a test run. My thought is to put together a photo portfolio that I can send out to The Producers of The Hobbit, so they can at least get an idea, of how I will look in costume! It did not go as well as I hoped. Its so hard to direct from in front of the camera. I had Mom trying to snap the pics. She did fine, but I hate my hair, she didn't pay attention to the important details! Different set of pictures are over on Flickr.
